Every pan knock in St Maarten, the schools will be closed and your kids will be on holiday. Get used to it. St Maarten being a double island means that sometimes the kids are giving a break from events twice.  What I can suggest is to get your kids into as many as these activities as they like, whether it be carnival or the drumline. Just get them involved, and get as many photos and videos as you can, because tomorrow they will be grown
